Rohit Sharma, the Indian ODI and Test captain, is one of the most popular cricketers in the world and it has made him a huge brand, especially in India. Also, in the last decade or so, the IPL has brought huge money into Indian cricket and players have benefitted massively from it.
Rohit Sharma Rents Out His Luxurious Mumbai Property
Thus, these factors have made sure that Rohit Sharma has no dearth of profitable financial assets and now, a Hindustan Times report has stated that he has rented out his property from Lower Parel, Mumbai at INR 2.6 Lakh Per Month. According to HT, registration doucments have been reviewed by Square Yards.
The report further states that Rohit Sharma and his father Gurunath Sharma bought that property in March 2013 at INR 5.46 Crore. The apartment is located in Lodha Marquise - The Park developed by Macrotech Developers Limited (Lodha Group) and is spread across seven acres and is a part of ready-to-move residential project.
Also, the report mentions that the apartment has a carpet area of 1298 sq ft and has two car parking spaces as well. The IGR property registration documents also reveal that the lease transaction incurred a stamp duty of INR 16,300 and registration charges of INR 1000. Also, looking at all the figures, the report states that Rohit Sharma will get a 6% rental yield.
As far as cricket is concerned, Rohit Sharma is currently leading India in Champions Trophy 2025 and would be seen playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025.
