Rohit Sharma fever grips Dubai amidst CT 2025
Hundreds of fans gathered on the streets of Dubai to catch a glimpse of Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma when the latter decided to take a simple stroll in the city. Currently in the UAE for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, the Sharma-led Indian team recently defeated Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium.
Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, Team India walloped Bangladesh by six wickets on February 20 and defeated arch-rivals Pakistan with the same margin on February 23. In both run-chases, the Indian skipper provided his team a fiery start at the top of the order but failed to convert his belligerent cameo into a notable score.
Nonetheless, with Team India already in the semifinals of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, Rohit Sharma’s troops will now fight to secure the primo position in Group A against New Zealand in Dubai on Sunday, March 2.
