Rohit Sharma last played competitive cricket a couple of months ago for the Mumbai Indians franchise in the IPL 2025 season. In the 15 matches he played for his team in the tournament, the cricketer aggregated 418 runs at a staggering strike rate of nearly 150.

While Rohit Sharma has already announced his retirement from Tests and T20I cricket, the 38-year-old will likely be making his return to international colours for Team India during a white-ball tour of Sri Lanka next month. With Bangladesh tour being put on hold, the Indian cricket team will reportedly play a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka in the island nation in August.
