The recently held CEAT Cricket Rating (CCR) Awards 2025 honored the country's stars for their impact on the global cricketing calendar. The evening was studded with cricketing stalwarts, emerging stars, and distinguished guests. However, it was something else that caught everyone's eye.
In a clip going viral on social media platforms, former Indian captain Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, were seen hilariously laughing over mimicry artist Shaarang Shringarpure's imitating another Indian legend, MS Dhoni.
Sharma, who recently made headlines for his fitness journey and losing almost 20kgs, couldn’t control his laughter, giggling like a little child. Notably, while Rohit was laughing, watching Shringarpure live and hearing his mimicry, his life partner, Ritika, was seen adoring and gazing at him with immense love in her eyes.

Rohit Sharma axed from India captaincy ahead of IND vs AUS series
Despite the incredible weight loss journey, Rohit Sharma, who had led India to the Champions Trophy 2025 victory, has been sacked from the captaincy. A decision that shook one and all has been made, keeping his age in mind, with the ICC ODI World Cup to be played only in the next 2 years.
Notably, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are set to return to the field after more than 6 months, after being included in India's ODI squad for the upcoming Australia tour.
Shubman Gill, who is set to replace Rohit as India's ODI captain, will have big shoes to fill as the team prepares for the Australian challenges. The Men in Blue will face the Aussies in a three-match One-day series, followed by a five-match T20I series. With the first ODI is set to be played on October 19.
