Pat Cummins And His Wife Announce Pregnancy; Couple Set To Welcome 2nd Child

Australia skipper Pat Cummins is set to embrace fatherhood for the 2nd time, as his wife, Becky Cummins, took to Instagram to reveal pregnancy.

The Couple shared three pictures on the social media platform, which also featured their first child. 

 "We are so happy to finally share our 👶🏼 news! We are so excited to meet you baby, and to add a little more craziness to our lives 😆 @patcummins30."


The couple, who tied the knot in August 2022, welcomed their first child Albie on October 8, 2021. 

Cummins To Take Eight-Week Break

Cummins, who will not be a part of the upcoming UK tour, recently announced that after a discussion with Australia's head coach, he would take an eight-week break to manage his worklod.

Cummins is preparing for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy as he wants to come a bit fresher for the series scheduled in December. 

"Everyone that comes back after a break is a little bit fresher, you never regret it. I've basically been bowling non-stop since the World Test Championship final, nearly 18 months ago,” Cummins said, as quoted by Fox Sports. 

“This gives me a good seven or eight weeks completely off bowling so the body can recover, and then you start building up again for the summer. It means you can hopefully bowl for a little bit longer, maintain pace is a bit easier, make you less susceptible to injuries,” he added.

Cummins recently featured in the MLC and there were reports that he might feature in domestic cricket ahead of BGT.
