At 14 years, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has lit up the world with his fearless power-hitting. Apart from making headlines for his batting, the Bihar-born teenager is making waves for himself, becoming the only cricketer, second to Virat Kohli, to feature on Instagram’s official page. 

Recently, in the ongoing Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, the Indian prodigy drew attention with a record-breaking 144-run knock against the UAE. 

Before rising to the occasion at the international stage, the boss baby had an incredible start to his IPL journey after being bought by the Rajasthan Royals in the 2025 auction. 

Cricket legend, he’s only 14 years old: Instagram honours Suryavanshi with featured post

The 14-year-old first made headlines after smashing a six off his very first IPL ball and a record-breaking 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans in his maiden IPL season. 

Hence, it felt pretty obvious why Instagram, one of the world’s biggest social media brands, chose to give the youngster from Bihar the spotlight on its official page.

"The all-rounder is the youngest-ever player in the Indian Premier League and is a member of the @rajasthanroyals (Rajasthan Royals). His love for the game started with his dad, who also played cricket and gave Vaibhav his first kit bag at age 5," the post reflected on Vaibhav's cricketing journey. 

Notably, Instagram spent a day with Vaibhav at the Rajasthan Royals Academy, capturing the youngster's simplicity and sparkle amid all the chaos.

Viewers were treated to glimpses of his practice routine, his love for “batting and hitting long sixes” and the structured contents of his two kit bags.

Fan awaits Vaibhav Suryavanshi's next appearance 

Very early in his career, Suryavanshi has become a fan favourite, with cricket lovers awaiting his next appearance with the bat. As India A prepares for its upcoming match against Oman in the Emerging Asia Cup 2025, Suryavanshi is all set to display another entertaining innings. 

It will be safe to say that if Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues his performances, an India call is soon to be slated for the youngster.
