It was an evening of magic at Centre Court on Monday when tennis great Novak Djokovic staged a brilliant comeback victory against Australia's Alex de Minaur to advance into the Wimbledon 2025 quarterfinals. Among the star-studded audience was former India cricket captain Virat Kohli, who couldn’t hide his admiration for Djokovic’s fighting spirit.
Kohli, who was at the match with his wife, Anushka Sharma, watched closely as Djokovic bounced back from a poor start. De Minaur took the first set 6-1 and looked in full control.
But Djokovic, known for his resilience, bounced back by winning the next two sets and then coming from 1-4 down in the fourth to win five straight games and seal the match.

The 37-year-old Djokovic, who won his 100th Wimbledon match just two days earlier, is chasing a historic 25th Grand Slam title. If he wins Wimbledon this year, he will equal Roger Federer’s record of eight titles at the All England Club and become the oldest Grand Slam winner in the Open Era.
