Sanju Samson, the Indian cricketer and a Rajasthan Royals veteran and current skipper, turns 31 today on November 11, 2025. The leader of the Pink Army, however, has been in serious trade talks with Chennai Super Kings.

Rumours have swirled that Ravindra Jadeja is the most likely candidate to be swapped with Sanju Samson ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction, which is likely to be held on December 15-16.

What caught netizens' eyes, however, was Rajasthan Royals' special wish on Sanju Samson's birthday. After the official social media handle of Rajasthan Royals wished Sanju Samson on his birthday at midnight, with the caption, "Happy birthday, Chetta!" netizens were sure to troll the franchise.

Given the fact that Samson and Jadeja are headlines of trade rumours, users were surprised at the fact that the franchise is still wishing their player, whom they will soon part with. Recent reports reveal that Samson has already been traded by CSK, as the Yellow camp parted ways with Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran.
