That is right! Dhoni is not just a legend with the bat but also a certified dog lover with a pack that is as elite as his cricket resume.

Sam: The Belgian Malinois

Every team has that one player who gives it their all. In Dhoni’s canine crew, it’s Sam: the Belgian Malinois and reportedly his favourite as per one of his Instagram post. This breed is no less than an elite all-rounder. Smart, athletic, loyal and always up for a challenge, sounds like Dhoni himself in his prime. Besides Sam, he also has another Belgian Malinois, whose name is not known.

The Belgian Malinois is known for being a go-to choice for military and police squads, thanks to its sharp brain and endless energy. Sam is always game for training drills and Dhoni has even set up a dedicated training lawn just for his dogs.

Lily and Gabbar: The Huskies

If Sam is the all-rounder, then Lily and Gabbar, the white Huskies, are the stylish openers of the team. With their snow-white fur and piercing blue eyes, these Siberian Huskies bring fun. Known for their friendly nature, they are the ones who will wag their tail at everyone. Not great watchdogs but definitely great company.

Huskies are built for the cold but seem to be living it up in Ranchi just fine. These two are often seen chilling on the lawn or playing with Dhoni and his daughter Ziva. They're the charmers of the group: all looks, all heart.
