Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni, Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Rishabh Pant, and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vice-captain Nitish Rana were captured together in a frame with Bollywood actor Sunny Singh.

These four men were seen in a picture shared by Sunny Singh on his Instagram handle. These photos are believed to have been taken during the engagement ceremony of Rishabh Pant’s sister, Sakshi Pant. 

Sunny captioned the picture: “Creating bonds and unforgettable stories with these incredible souls."


One of the photos shared by the actor captured Pant dancing while his mentor Dhoni observed him with a smile. The images showcase the camaraderie between the cricketers and the Bollywood actor.

Dhoni and Pant have been frequently seen together since their meeting in the UAE during the IPL 2024 Auction. Although both were in Dubai, only Pant attended the auction in person, while Dhoni, as in the past, opted to provide suggestions to the management over the phone. Subsequently, they traveled to India together with Dhoni's wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva after celebrating Christmas.

During Sakshi Pant's engagement, Dhoni displayed his humorous side, making the ceremony more special by speaking on stage and congratulating Sakshi and her fiance, Ankit Chaudhary. Dhoni appeared to enjoy the star-studded event and spent time with Rishabh Pant and his mother.

Dhoni and Pant share a close bond both on and off the field. The Delhi Capitals captain welcomed the New Year with Dhoni and his family in the UAE and was also present at Dhoni's Christmas celebration the previous year.

Looking ahead, Dhoni is gearing up to return to competitive action in IPL 2024. After leading Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title in 2023, CSK's Thala underwent surgery to address a longstanding knee injury. His recovery appears to be progressing well, and he is set to resume training in the coming months.

Similarly, Rishabh Pant is expected to make a comeback in the IPL 2024 season. The DC captain has been recovering from multiple injuries sustained in a car crash in December 2022 and has initiated low-intensity training toward the end of 2023.

Meanwhile, after leading KKR in the 2023 IPL, Nitish Rana will serve as the deputy to Shreyas Iyer in the upcoming IPL season.
