Kohli's playful slide adds fun to team photo after T20I series win

The latest instance of Kohli's dynamic personality came to the fore in the third and final T20I of the series against Afghanistan at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. After a nail-biting double 'Super Over' thriller, Kohli's playful slide on the grass to join his team's celebratory photograph captured the hearts of fans and highlighted the lighter side of this fiercely competitive sport.

The match itself was a rollercoaster of emotions and skill, with India and Afghanistan both showing hunger and determination. After a tense tie with both teams locked at 212, the match proceeded to not one, but two 'Super Overs'. 

The first 'Super Over' was a cliffhanger, ending in a tie, further escalating the suspense. It was in the second 'Super Over' that India clinched victory, thanks to Ravi Bishnoi's impressive double-wicket haul and Rohit Sharma's crucial batting performance.

Rohit, who had a slow start in the series, came back strong with a magnificent unbeaten 121 off 69 balls, propelling India past the formidable 200-run mark. His heroics, combined with Bishnoi's bowling, were instrumental in India's eventual win. Despite a rare golden duck from Kohli, the team's spirits remained high, and Kohli's spirit was undimmed, as evidenced by his jubilant antics following the win.

After the intense game, the Indian dugout and the stands erupted in celebration. It was during these moments of wild celebration that Kohli's playful side shone through. His childlike gesture to slide on the grass into the frame for the team photograph showed how he treated team’s success above his personal achievements.
