Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj shared an adorable video of singing the ‘Kehndi Hai’ song alongside Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter Zanai Bhosle. The clip, which has gone viral, shows the duo humming to the song ‘Kehndi Hai,’ drawing a wave of reactions from fans.
India's best fast bowler Siraj was having the best of times away from the cricket ground as he was back with friends and family. He was not in consideration from India's Champions Trophy 2025 team even after Jasprit Bumrah was left out.
However, Siraj is using his time to reconnect with his old friends and also to form some new connections.
Mohammed Siraj shares a new video with Zanai Bhosle
Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj and Zanai Bhosle, the granddaughter of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, have taken social media by storm with their latest video.
The duo sang Zanai’s latest song, ‘Kehndi Hai’ in a vanity van and vibed together.
The internet was in an uproar a couple of weeks back when photos of Mohammed Siraj and Zanai Bhosle from her 23rd birthday party came on the web. The off-camera snaps created rumors of a potential romantic relationship between the two.
But Zanai was quick to kill the rumors, addressing Siraj as "Mere Pyaare Bhai," and Siraj replied by addressing her as "Meri Behna." Now, with the new video clip, the two have once again solidified their sibling-like relationship.
The road ahead for Siraj
While Siraj is in the news away from the cricket field, his career on the pitch has been facing a slump. The pace bowler has not been included in India's initial team for the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
However, he has been included in the list of non-travelling reserves along with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube.
Siraj's exclusion follows a poor stint in the five-Test series against Australia, where he was unable to make a telling contribution. His form did not improve, and he was left out of the limited-overs series against England.
