Indian pace spearhead Mohammed Shami is embracing the festive spirit of Eid with much grace. On Saturday, June 7, the cricketer shared a couple of pictures of himself in ethnic wear on his social media accounts.

Posing alongside his close relatives, Shami also extended his wishes to everyone celebrating the joyous Eid ul Adha, as the 34-year-old enjoys his time off the field from competitive cricket.

Mohammed Shami Radiates Eid Elegance After England Setback

On Saturday, June 7, i.e., on the auspicious occasion of Eid, Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami shared pictures of himself alongside his close relatives on social media. In the pictures, the cricketer can be seen wearing a long kurta and a traditional Muslim prayer cap, exuding effortless elegance and timeless charm in his festive attire.

In the caption, Shami wrote: “Wishing everyone a blessed and joyous Eid ul Adha.”

Mohammed Shami recently represented the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise in the IPL 2025 season. However, the speedster went largely ineffective in his campaign, picking up just six wickets at an expensive bowling average of 56.16.

Shami made his return to competitive cricket earlier this year during a home series against England after an extensive injury layoff. He subsequently became a part of India’s triumphant 2025 ICC Champions Trophy crusade in the UAE.

However, in a surprising move, Mohammed Shami was excluded from India’s travelling group for the upcoming five-match Test series in England. He played the last of his 64 Tests for India back in mid-2023 at The Oval.
