Bollywood Actor and Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta was visibly moved by her team’s blistering performance during their rain-affected IPL 2025 clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens.

Taking to Instagram, Preity shared a heartfelt tribute to PBKS openers Prabhsimran Singh and debutant Priyansh Arya, who stitched together a record-breaking 120-run opening stand that lit up the stadium.

“Prabhsimran has been with us from the start when he was a teenager & this is Priyansh’s first IPL! I’m so proud to see both of them play fearlessly & with maturity complimenting each other & becoming the base of Punjab Power,” wrote Preity in her post.

Prabhsimran Singh smashed a fiery 83 off 49 balls, peppered with six fours and six sixes, while Arya impressed with a composed half-century in just his first IPL season. Their explosive partnership was the joint second-highest of the season and the highest ever for PBKS against KKR.

Prabhsimran and Priyansh also climbed the IPL 2025 Orange Cap rankings to No. 12 and No. 9 respectively.
