Recently, rumours spread online claiming India star all-rounder Hardik Pandya had secretly gotten engaged to actor-model Mahieka Sharma. These rumours began after Hardik posted a bunch of romantic photos and videos on Instagram with Mahieka, along with cute pictures of his son Agastya.

In one of the clips, fans noticed Mahieka wearing a huge diamond ring. That instantly made people wonder if the couple had taken the next big step in their relationship. Social media was buzzing with excitement, and many assumed the ring was an engagement ring.

Hardik confirmed his relationship with Mahieka only a few months ago, and since then, the two have often been seen sharing adorable moments online. 

The latest pictures showed them dressed in matching traditional outfits, looking very close and comfortable with each other. That only gave fans more reason to believe something special had happened.

Mahieka finally addresses viral rumours of her engagement

However, Mahieka has now responded to all the talk in a fun and light-hearted way. On Friday, she posted a photo of a black kitten with pink hair on Instagram. The caption said, 

“Me watching the internet decide I’m engaged when I just wear nice jewellery every day.” 

She also joked that people might soon start spreading pregnancy rumours next. Sharing another funny picture of a man in a toy car, she wrote, 

“What would you do if I pulled up in this to fight the pregnancy rumours?”

For those who may not know, Hardik Pandya was previously married to actress Natasa Stankovic. The couple wed in 2020 and soon welcomed their son Agastya. However, in July 2024, Hardik and Natasa publicly announced their separation, saying they would continue to co-parent their son and keep his happiness as their priority.

After the split, Hardik briefly dated Jasmin Walia before finding love with Mahieka.
