Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and actress Mahieka Sharma have sparked speculation of their engagement on social media. In a recent post, the two can be seen performing a pooja ceremony at a temple, which has been presumed by many to be a video of their engagement.

Both Hardik Pandya and Mahieka Sharma have been in a relationship for quite some time. Their first public appearance occurred back in October. i.e., just a couple of months ago around Pandya’s 32nd birthday.

On Thursday, November 20, a social media post went viral which claimed that Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya got secretly engaged to girlfriend Mahieka Sharma during a family pooja. In the short video, the two can be seen performing a ritual, quite reminiscent to that of an engagement.

Hardik Pandya himself also shared a glimpse of the ritual a couple of days ago on his Instagram, where he described Mahieka Sharma as one of the “big 3” of his life in the caption alongside cricket and son Agastya.

While the explosive social media post claimed that both Hardik Pandya and Mahieka Sharma have engaged with each other during their family pooja, no official confirmation has been made by either of the two parties.

Moreover, the priest who conducted the pooja even stated that the ceremony was purely organized for the well-being of the family.

In short, until there is an official confirmation regarding Hardik Pandya engagement, any such rumours should be taken with a grain of salt.

On the cricketing front, Hardik Pandya’s return to the Indian team after suffering an injury during the 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup has been reportedly delayed further. Currently in rehabilitation, the cricketer will likely miss India’s upcoming ODI series against the visiting South African team.
