Cricket fans received heartwarming news as Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) latest addition, New Zealand's pace sensation Lockie Ferguson, stepped into a new innings of life by exchanging vows with his long-time partner Emma Komoki. 

The 32-year-old Kiwi fast bowler revealed the joyous occasion on Friday, February 9, through picturesque snapshots shared on his Instagram handle, albeit the wedding ceremony took place on February 2.

Lockie Ferguson, known for his fiery pace and lethal bowling, has now added a new dimension to his life with the companionship of Emma Komoki, a British national settled in New Zealand. Emma, affectionately described as a "human mechanic" due to her profession as a sports physiotherapist, has been an integral part of the New Zealand hockey team's support staff. Previously, she has also lent her expertise to the New Zealand women's cricket team.

The couple's journey from engagement in February last year to the grand celebration of their marriage marks a significant milestone in their relationship. Lockie Ferguson, who has showcased his skills on the cricket field with remarkable performances, now embarks on a new chapter off the field, with Emma by his side.

Looking forward, Lockie Ferguson is set to represent RCB alongside Virat Kohli in the upcoming IPL 2024 season.
