The photos quickly won hearts online and left the fans gushing over the Rahul's softer side.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview on Sony Network, KL Rahul spoke about the emotional challenges of being a new father while continuing his career. He opened up about how tough it was to leave his daughter so soon after her birth.

"Two days after she was born, I had to go play the IPL game and I tried in whatever breaks we got during the IPL to go back for a couple of days and then finish the IPL," he said.

"It was really hard to take that decision to come here and play that India A game as well because I had not spent any time with her and I knew when I came here, I won't see her for another two months, so it's a really, really hard decision," he added.

Despite the personal sacrifices, KL Rahul had a phenomenal series. The 33-year-old opener was India’s second-highest run-scorer, racking up 535 runs in 10 innings. His performance included two centuries and two half-centuries, with an impressive average of 53.20.
