Actress Akriti Negi’s journey on the ‘Rise and Fall’ reality show has become one of the most talked-about stories of this season. Akriti's courageous outlook, along with her never-give-up personality, has enabled her to steal the show, not only from the audience but also from the well-known cricketers of India.

The reality show is hosted by renowned businessman Ashneer Grover, where contestants are locked up in a unique set. Akriti, who previously featured in reality shows like ‘Splitsvilla’ and ‘Roadies’, is reckoned as one of the strongest contestants on the show.

Akriti Negi Gets Support From Ishan Kishan, Nitish Reddy

As the ‘Rise and Fall’ show nears its end, a video of Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan urging people to vote for Akriti Negi has gone viral on social media.

Shared by tennis player Anshuman Srivastava on Instagram, the clip shows Ishan appealing to his fans and friends, saying, “Please everyone, vote only for Akriti.”

In the background, songs by Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh can be heard playing, adding a light-hearted touch to the video.

Fans were surprised by Ishan’s active support, as many expected him to back another contestant, Dhanshree Verma, the ex-wife of Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

Rumours also say that all-rounder Nitish Reddy and pacer Akash Deep also voiced their support for Akriti Negi, though no official posts have been made on social media.

Why Is Ishan Supporting Akriti Negi?

A possible reason behind Ishan Kishan rallying for Akriti Negi is the actress’ rumoured relationship with tennis player Anshuman Srivastava. The latter is a close friend of not only Ishan Kishan but also Shubman Gill, as they have previously been spotted hanging out together. Hence, Ishan Kishan’s action appears to be a gesture for a friend’s partner.
