Team India’s young wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan was recently seen having a fun time off the field. In a video that is now viral on social media, Ishan can be seen dancing inside a moving auto-rickshaw to a Bhojpuri song while travelling with his friends.

Kishan has not played for Team India since 2023. After getting snubbed from the central contract list, the youngster has made his way back through hard work and dedication. However, a comeback in blue colours is still a pipe dream.

Ishan Kishan Dances To Bhojpuri Song In Fun Moment With Friends

Recently, Ishan Kishan celebrated his 27th birthday on July 18 with his family and close friends. The birthday celebration and his fun dance video show that he is trying to stay positive during this break from international cricket.

Meanwhile, Kishan went for an auto-rickshaw ride with his friends in his hometown in Jharkhand. The rickshaw was decorated with lights, and Kishan grooved to a trending Bhojpuri song called ‘Sorry Sorry’ from Pawan Singh.

He looked happy and relaxed, and the video has now gone viral on social media, with fans loving this carefree side of the wicket-keeper batter.

Interestingly, Kishan was part of the India A squad that faced England Lions earlier this year but didn’t get a chance to play. Later, he was left out of the main Indian squad for the ongoing Test series against England. Instead, selectors picked Dhruv Jurel as the back-up wicket-keeper behind the returning Rishabh Pant.

What Is Kishan Up To These Days?

After the IPL, Ishan Kishan played for Nottinghamshire in the County Championship to keep his dream of returning to India’s Test side alive. He scored 87 and 23 runs in two matches, putting in efforts and keeping himself in touch with the game. 

Though he is currently out of favour with the selectors, Ishan Kishan remains hopeful and determined to make his return to Team India. His recent performances and good attitude may prove helpful for him in getting another chance soon.
