Is India's T20 World Cup Jersey Inspired By Jethalal's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?

You may be pissed off already to read the headline, but it's not as ridicilous as it sounds. If you follow Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, one of the best comedy television show in India, if not the best, you should have noticed when there was Gokuldham Premier League (GPL) going on.

Not once, but multiple times, GPL episodes went on broadcast. Interestingly, on one occasion, Jethalal Gada, the face of the show whose actual name is Dilip Joshi, was wearing the exact same jersey that is set to be worn by India in the upcoming T20 World Cup, set to be played in the West Indies and the USA after the World Cup.

Understandably, the added orange colour in the outfit has raised doubts over Adidas' inspiration for the Men in Blue's jersey. Even though it can be unintentional, the questions are not irrelevant.

Notably, it's nothing but for fun purpose on social media, as neither India nor Adidas would ever do that.

Just to confirm, the T20 World Cup will get underway on June 2, with the USA taking on Canada to kick off the proceedings.
