Vintage Rishabh Pant is back with his performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). In the chase against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), skipper Rishabh Pant is batting with full responsibility. He even thwacked two successive maximums off the bowling of Andre Russell in the chase of 273 runs.

The first of the two sixers was a Pant-esque whip over deep square leg, before he pulled a sixer of similar distance in the same region against the Jamaican all-rounder.

Rishabh Pant went onto score his second and successive half-century of the season; stitching a firm partnership with Tristan Stubbs of 93 runs after the Delhi Capitals lost their top-four wickets at 33 inside the powerplay, chasing 273 runs. 

Despite, all the efforts put by Pant and Stubbs, DC lost the game against Kolkata by a huge margin of 106 runs.

Earlier in the game, Kolkata scored the second-highest score of the season and IPL highest, beating RCB's score of 263 runs and falling 5 runs shy of SRH's 277/3. The stars of the night were Sunil Narine (85 off 39 balls), Angkrish Raghuvanshi (54 off 27), Russell (41 in 19) and Rinku Singh (26 off 8 balls).
