Former Indian cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni has retired from international cricket; however, still remains an active part of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Apart from cricket, Dhoni has also been involved in various sports, including golf and football.
Dhoni Seen Playing Golf With Friends
In a photo that is going viral on social media, former Indian cricket captain and currently a player for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as Captain Cool, was seen playing golf with his friends. In the viral picture, Dhoni is seen wearing a full-sleeve red T-shirt while he is with three of his friends.
Additionally, MS could be seen wearing a full hat alongside a golf club in his hand, with a white glove on his left hand. It is now a well-known fact that Dhoni is a keen golfer and has also been involved in other sports, namely badminton and football.
MS Dhoni's Golf Exploration With The US President
Back in 2023, when Donald Trump was not in office, a picture of Dhoni with Trump went viral. Dhoni's video with Trump got attention after the two were seen playing golf together, with photos circulating online showing them spending time on the golf course.
Just like Dhoni, Trump is also an avid golfer, as the current US President used to spend time with Dhoni on the field. Interestingly enough, Dhoni and Trump were also seen together at the US Open in 2023, following which they went on to play golf together.
As for Dhoni, the former legendary Indian cricketer is likely to return to the IPL 2026 and play a crucial role for the Chennai Super Kings side, who struggled last season in IPL 2025, as he had to take charge after regular skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad got injured.
