'House Party...': Celebrity Photographer Joseph Radhik Recalls Kohli-Anushka’s Wedding

Renowned celebrity wedding photographer Joseph Radhik recently opened up about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding, calling it one of the most intimate and special ceremonies he has ever captured. Speaking at the India Today Conclave 2025, Radhik reminisced about photographing the couple’s dreamy wedding in Tuscany, Italy. 

Radhik, who has shot numerous high-profile weddings, described Virat Kohli and Anushka’s marriage as 'the definition of a perfect wedding'. He emphasised on how rare it is to see couples truly being themselves on their big day.  

“I got married in 2017, and that same year, I and my team photographed Virat and Anushka’s wedding. The ceremony was intimate, and it felt like the definition of a perfect wedding. Virat and Anushka’s wedding felt more like a house party; you could be whoever you wanted to be, and you could relax and enjoy," he added.

It is important to note that, many celebrities called the marriage 'the most stunning wedding ever'. The wedding was a private affair, attended by only 40 close family members and friends, with no media glare, creating a serene and magical atmosphere.

Anushka and Virat first met in 2013 while filming a television commercial. Their relationship blossomed in private, and they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2017. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika, in January 2021, and in February 2024, they became parents again to a baby boy, Akaay.  

However it is important to mention that even years later, their wedding remains an iconic and much-admired celebration of love, privacy, and perfection.
