With matches hosted at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi, the league offers a fresh take on cricket, combining competitive gameplay with the charisma of social media personalities. The season is set to run until September 22, promising a dynamic blend of entertainment and sport.

Among the league’s highlights is Rajat Dalal, who plays for the Haryanvi Hunters. Recently, Dalal was featured in a video shared by the official scoring partner, Crex, on their X account. 

The video, titled "Guess the Celebrity with Rajat Dalal," featured a playful moment where his teammate imitated Rohit Sharma’s iconic pull shot. It took Dalal a while to recognise the shot, even after receiving some hints. This light-hearted interaction highlights the league’s unique approach to engaging fans through both sports and social media.

Elvish Yadav, the captain of the Haryanvi Hunters, is a key figure in the ECL. As a popular social media influencer, Yadav adds a unique flair to the league. In a recent interview with Crex, he revealed Rohit Sharma as his favorite cricketer during a 'This or That' session. Elvish Yadav distinguished between their batting styles, ultimately choosing Rohit as his top favorite due to his aggressive stroke play.

On the field, the Haryanvi Hunters, under the leadership of Elvish Yadav in the inaugural ECL edition, have made an impressive start to their campaign. After a thrilling opening match victory over the Bangalore Bashers by two wickets, the team currently sits third in the points table and will face the Mumbai Disruptors in their next encounter.
