In a surprising and controversial interview during the Entertainers Cricket League (ECL), Rajat Dalal made headlines by snubbing cricket legend MS Dhoni while picking players he would love to have in his team, the Haryanvi Hunters, if given a chance. The tournament is anticipated to be a big hit amongst the youth generation who adores these social media celebrities.

Entertainers Cricket League (ECL), comprising celebrities and social media influencers, kicked off with a bang yesterday as Haryanvi Hunters beat Bangalore Bashers by 2-wickets in the last-over thriller contest. While the Hunters were led by Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan was leading the Bashers.

Rajat Dalal irks MS Dhoni fans with controversial opinion!

Meanwhile, CREX, the official scoring partner of ECL, had a chat with Haryanvi Hunters player Rajat Dalal.

He was asked to name a few players who he would love to have in his team. While Dalal chose Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, he snubbed fan favourite MS Dhoni stating that he is not a fan of the former Indian captain.

Interestingly, Rajat Dalal donned jersey number 7 in ECL. However, he clarified that his jersey number choice was personal and not remotely related to MS Dhoni.

The remark was certainly unusual and irked MS Dhoni’s massive fanbase. Notably, the Haryanvi Hunters will face Mumbai Disruptors next on September 15 at the IG Indoor Stadium in Delhi.

Elvish Yadav Names Rohit Sharma His Favourite Cricketer

Before Rajat Dalal, Haryanvi Hunters captain Elvish Yadav was also interviewed by CREX. In the ‘This or That’ segment, he was asked to reveal his preference between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

While Elvish was hesitant to answer at first since he adores both players, the skipper sided with Rohit Sharma due to the latter’s ability to play quick shots from ball one as an opener.
