The fever for the first-ever Asia Cup final is at an all-time high, and the debate all across the internet is whether the Men in Blue can continue their clean sweep against Pakistan, as the Suryakumar Yadav-led side has already won two games in this edition.
For Pakistan, they are worried about Abhishek Sharma, who is the tournament's leading run-getter and stole the limelight during the Indo-Pak super four show at the Dubai International Stadium.
Ahead of the much-awaited final, Pakistan legend Shoaib Akhtar, during a chat show, issued an Abhishek Sharma warning for Pakistan, but made a big error and mentioned Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan instead.
Abhishek Bachchan Trolls Pakistan Cricket
“If Pakistan get Abhishek Bachchan [Sharma] out early on, hypothetically speaking, then what’s going to happen with the middle order? Their middle-order hasn’t performed,” remarked Akhtar during a chat show.
In the latest events, Akhtar's slip of tongue has reached the ears of Abhishek Bachchan, and the Bollywood actor has now reacted to the blunder. Notably, the veteran actor took the opportunity to troll the current state of Pakistan cricket and stated that the Men in Green wouldn't even manage to get him out despite him not being great at the sport.
"Sir, with all due respect… don’t think they’ll even manage that! And I’m not even good at playing cricket," wrote Abhishek Bachchan in his Twitter post.
Why Are Pakistan So Worried About Abhishek Sharma
Notably, Abhishek Sharma is the tournament's leading run-getter in the event with 248 runs in five innings. Further, the southpaw has tormented Pakistan in the first two matches and has amassed 105 runs in two matches against Pakistan.
Further, the left-handed batter has scored two fifty-plus scores in this tournament and one of them came against Pakistan.
