After a long 2-hour rain delay, the Qualifier-2 game between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) finally went on at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. However, during the delay, when cameras panned across the stadium, some fans were seen supporting the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) side, who are already through to the final.

Crazy RCB Fans Appear During The PBKS vs MI Clash

With just two days to go for the all-important and much-awaited final in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru fans cannot keep their calm, as they made their presence felt during the Qualifier-2 match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Qualifier-2 clash between the two sides was delayed for more than two hours after rain played massive a part. Despite all the rain, due to the new playing conditions for the playoffs, the match went on without any overs lost, as the first ball was bowled at 9:45 PM IST, with the full 20-over match currently ongoing.

However, during the two-hour delay, the cameras panned across the stands and ground multiple times and during one occasion, it caught the attention of social media users, who saw few RCB fans holding a gigantic poster of Virat Kohli bearing the message"RCB is waiting for you in the Final MI or PBKS" as a challenge to other teams.

This message was particularly for the fans of the two teams currently playing the game, as RCB are already through to the finals after beating Punjab Kings in Qualifier-1 in Chandigarh.

The final is slated to be played on June 3rd in Ahmedabad, as one of the two sides between PBKS or MI would be playing against the Rajat Patidar-led team.

Mumbai Asked To Bat First In Crucial Qualifier-2 Game

The toss happened before the rain delay, which was won by the Punjab Kings, as they opted to bowl first and put the Mumbai Indians into bat. They started off rather poorly, losing the wicket of their experienced opener, Rohit Sharma, for just eight runs.

However, Jonny Bairstow (38), Tilak Varma (44) and Suryakumar Yadav (44) helped Mumbai get some runs on the board, whereas Naman Dhir and skipper Hardik Pandya were at the crease by the time of writing with 146 runs on the board and four wickets down after the end of 15 overs.
