Yuzvendra Chahal's spouse, Dhanashree Verma, is highly engaged on social media, frequently sharing her dance reels and keeping fans informed about her activities. As a 26-year-old professional choreographer, she remains actively present on various social platforms.

Dhanashree is also friends with quite a few of her husband, Chahal’s teammates. The dancer and influencer recently posted an Instagram story featuring pace bowler Mohammed Siraj. The story has a pic of Verma and Siraj giving the victory pose on Facetime. 

“Same to same. IYKYK,” Verma wrote on the story.

A few months ago, the rumour mill had it that trouble was brewing between Verma and Chahal, and the couple were to separate. However, the couple clarified that all is well between them: 

“A humble request to you all to not believe in any rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly put an end to it. Love and Light to all,” Chahal wrote in an Instagram story.

The couple announced their engagement in August 2020, before tying the knot later that year. Verma is not just a dancer and influence, but also a dentist. She interned at Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital in Navi Mumbai.

During the Covid lockdown, Chahal signed up for one of Verma’s YouTube dance classes, and that is how the duo came in contact with each other.

Siraj, meanwhile, is currently in West Indies with the Indian team. He picked up seven wickets in two Tests against the Windies, and will now be seen in the T20I series which gets underway on August 3. He has played a total of 21 Tests, 24 ODIs and eight T20Is since making his international debut in 2017.
