The recent admission of actress Tamannah Bhatia dating her "Lust Stories 2" co-star, Vijay Varma, has led to the unexpected resurgence of an old advertisement.

The commercial, which features Tamannaah alongside former Indian captain Virat Kohli, has gone viral, bringing back to the forefront past rumors of an alleged relationship between the duo.

The advertisement, shot for the cellphone brand 'Celkon' in 2012, showcases a flirtatious encounter between the cricket icon and the actress. In the ad, Kohli asks for Tamannah's name and number under the pretext of locating his lost phone.

The ad had led to widespread speculation at the time that the pair might have been involved romantically, despite both having moved on in their personal lives since then.

The sudden resurgence of the advertisement is fuelled by Tamannaah's public admission to dating Vijay Varma, describing him as "her happy place." This confession has ignited curiosity about her past, leading to the reexamination of the old commercial with Kohli.

Meanwhile, Tamannaah had recently spoken out about the rumours during a chat show appearance.

"I wish, I wish people… They really have no clue. I think we spoke four words during the ad film, that's it. After that, I've never met or spoken to Virat," she clarified.

The actress also went on to praise the cricketer’s acting skills.

"But, I must say he was better than most of the actors we work with. And it was quite intimidating," added the seasoned actress.

While the advertisement continues to attract attention and spark discussions online, Tamannaah's comments stand as a clear refutation of any personal connection with Kohli beyond their professional collaboration.

Both celebrities have moved forward in their personal lives, with Kohli now married to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
