In a latest podcast, popular mainstream actor Riteish Deshmukh revealed that while he is a die hard supporter of Mumbai Indians, his family have different preferences, with his youngest son being an avid fan of Virat Kohli and RCB.

Virat Kohli, one of India's most successful and influential cricketers, attained immense popularity and his charismatic persona have made him a role model for countless young fans.

His enthusiasm, consistency, and aggressive style of play resonate with cricket enthusiasts of all ages. Moreover, Kohli's everlasting loyalty to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) further attracted more supporters for the IPL franchise from across the country.

Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh, known for his engaging performances in films, revealed that his youngest son is an ardent supporter of RCB, primarily due to Virat Kohli's influence.

In a candid conversation with reporter Shubhankar Mishra, Deshmukh recounted how his son, Rahyl, would excitedly follow RCB matches and cheer for the team, often citing Kohli's name with enthusiasm.

"In my home, I've forever been a supporter of Mumbai. Genelia's team is Chennai while the elder son supports Lucknow and the younger son is an RCB fan. I tell my younger son that RCB hasn't won yet. He tells me, 'No baba, it's Virat Kohli," Riteish said.

Interestingly, Deshmukh himself is an avid Mumbai Indians supporter. However, his wife and actress Genelia D'Souza supports CSK, whereas his elder son Riaan likes to root for LSG.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is set to return to action after a brief rest following the T20 World Cup victory. He will feature in the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka starting from August 2.
