Indian cricketer Rinku Singh recently got engaged to Priya Saroj, a Member of Parliament from the Samajwadi Party. The engagement ceremony was organised in Lucknow and was a grand celebration where another cricketer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, stole the show with his secret talent.

Several top political figures attended the function, including Akhilesh Yadav, president of the Samajwadi Party, and MP Dimple Yadav. However, many Indian cricketers were missing due to their preparation for the upcoming five-match Test series against England.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s Dance Moves At Rinku’s Engagement Become Highlight

One of the biggest highlights of the evening was veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s dance performance. 

A video that quickly went viral on social media showed Bhuvneshwar dancing with Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj to the popular Bollywood song “Sadi Gali.” Fans loved seeing this fun and energetic side of the usually calm and composed cricketer.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar might not have represented India after 2022, but he demonstrated his worth in IPL 2025. Playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), he took 17 wickets in 14 matches and played a key role in helping RCB win their first-ever IPL title. He impressed everyone in the final with a spell of 2/38 against Punjab Kings in the final.

Rinku Likely To Get Married In November

Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is likely to marry MP Priya Saroj on November 18 in Varanasi. Their engagement took place on June 8 in Lucknow at a private ceremony. The couple reportedly met through a mutual friend, whose father is also a cricketer. While rumours had surfaced earlier this year, Priya’s father confirmed that both families had meaningful discussions before finalising the match.
