Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma is famously absent-minded, a trait that has become a source of amusement for teammates and fans alike. From misplacing essential items like passports and iPads to even forgetting team decisions made moments before the toss, his forgetfulness is legendary within the cricketing world.

This characteristic was humorously highlighted during a recent episode of the podcast Who's The Boss with Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh, featuring Rohit Sharma's teammate Suryakumar Yadav and his wife Devisha Shetty.

SKY Comments On Rohit Sharma's Forgetful Nature

In the podcast, when Harbhajan Singh asked Suryakumar Yadav to describe Rohit Sharma in one word, Yadav instantly replied, "Bhoola," probably prompting to a character from the movie franchise Golmal where actor Johny Lever acted the character of Bhoola who had a tendency to forget incidents.

Suryakumar Yadav elaborated, "He keeps forgetting lots of things like his phone, wallet, iPad—everything."

The light-hearted revelation underscores the camaraderie within the team and adds to the collection of amusing anecdotes shared by players over the years about their skipper's tendency to forget. 

SKY And Rohit To Get Some Rest Ahead Of Next Venture

Amidst this banter, the families of both Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav were recently seen enjoying time together in the UK. With no ODI matches till October, Rohit Sharma will likely spend some quality time with his family and rejuvenate before he returns to his captaincy duties.

Meanwhile, as India is currently on the England tour with the Test team, Suryakumar Yadav also has some leisure time on his hands to regroup and freshen up after IPL 2025. For the unaware, as Rohit and Suryakumar both share the same franchise, Mumbai Indians had a rather painful exit in the Eliminator as they struggled to climb to the playoffs with a sub-par season.
