Ravichandran Ashwin was among the first cricketers to congratulate ISRO after the latter’s successful Chandrayaan-3 moon landing. The ace spinner took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and extended his congratulation towards the national space agency for creating history.
As it turned out, Ashwin later received a response from a parody account operating under the name of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Fully aware of the legitimacy of the account, the cricketer entertained the reply with a sarcastic post, thus triggering much amusement among his followers on the micro-blogging site.

Minutes after ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 successfully soft-landed on the moon’s lunar south pole, veteran Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin took to X and acknowledged the historic occasion. He wrote:

The legendary spinner instantly received a response from a parody account of Narendra Modi, and the two exchanged a hilarious conversation with each other on the micro-blogging site. Pretending to interact with the actual Prime Minister of India, Ashwin’s sarcastic exchange went as follows:
The 36-year-old recently starred in India’s Test series win in West Indies last month. The off-spinner snared 15 wickets across both matches, and even scored a fighting 56 in the series-decider at Port of Spain.
Despite his recent efforts with both bat and ball, the cricketer was ignored by the selection committee for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka.
