Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s match-winning performance against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) not only made headlines on the field but also off it, as his rumoured girlfriend, RJ Mahvash, took to social media to share a heartwarming tribute. 

Mahvash and Chahal have sparked relationship rumours in recent weeks, especially after multiple sightings together. This comes after Chahal's separation from his wife, choreographer Dhanashree Verma. 

RJ Mahvash Posts Heartwarming Story For Chahal

Shortly after Chahal’s stunning four-wicket haul (4/28) that helped Punjab Kings defend a mere 111 runs- the lowest total ever defended in IPL history. 

Mahvash shared a selfie with the leg-spinner on her Instagram Story. The photo, taken prior to the match, showed the duo smiling with Chahal in his PBKS kit. Captioning the image, Mahvash wrote: “What a talented man. Highest wicket-taker for a reason. Asambhav!”. 

Her use of the word "Asambhav" (meaning "impossible") echoed the sentiment felt by fans as PBKS clinched a stunning 16-run victory vs KKR. 

The star bowler made some significant contribution as he scalped the wickets of KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane (17 off 17), Angkrish Raghuvanshi (37 off 28), Rinku Singh (2 off 9), and lastly Ramandeep Singh (0 off 1).

Chahal’s fiery spell dismantled the KKR batting lineup, with significant support from South African pacer Marco Jansen, who bagged three wickets. The win helped PBKS climb into the IPL top four, while KKR slipped to sixth. PBKS will next face RCB on April 18, before taking on KKR again at Eden Gardens on April 26.
