Arjun Tendulkar Gets Engaged To Mumbai Businessman’s Granddaughter: Report

Mumbai Indians fast bowler Arjun Tendulkar has gotten engaged to Saaniya Chandok, granddaughter of prominent Mumbai-based businessman Ravi Ghai. Their engagement was reportedly a private affair, attended only by close friends and family members from both sides.

However, neither the Tendulkar nor the Ghai family has issued any official statement or update regarding the ceremony.

Arjun Tendulkar Bowls Over Saaniya Chandok

As reported by India Today on Wednesday, August 13; Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandok have gotten engaged in a private ceremony. Granddaughter of businessman Ravi Ghai, Saaniya hails from one of the most recognised business families from Mumbai.

According to certain social media outlets, both Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandok have also been friends since childhood.

Their engagement was organised as a low-profile ceremony, and was only attended by their families and close friends.

Son of former Indian cricketer and all-time great Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun plays for Goa in domestic cricket. He also played a handful of matches for the Mumbai Indians franchise in the 2023 and 2024 editions of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

While Arjun Tendulkar was part of the Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians team in this year’s IPL 2025 season, he failed to receive a single crack in the playing XI throughout the tournament. Nonetheless, Mumbai Indians reached the second qualifier of IPL 2025, where they lost to a spirited Punjab Kings team, inspired by their captain Shreyas Iyer.

Next season onwards, Arjun could potentially be released, and the seamer would be eager to find a new side ahead of the IPL 2026 season.
