On December 10, Jasprit Bumrah added another big achievement to his career by becoming one of the few bowlers in the world to take 100 wickets in all three formats of cricket, Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.

Notably, only a handful of greats like Lasith Malinga, Tim Southee, Shakib Al Hasan, and Shaheen Afridi have done this before.

During the first T20I match against South Africa in Cuttack, Bumrah finally completed his 100 T20I wickets. Interestingly, he became the second Indian to reach this milestone, after Arshdeep Singh, who had already gotten there. The moment Bumrah achieved the feat, Arshdeep made sure to celebrate it in a fun way.

Arshdeep’s hilarious take on Bumrah’s milestone

In recent months, Arshdeep has become popular for his lighthearted Instagram reels featuring Indian players in funny post-match moments. Even Virat Kohli appeared in one of his videos, playfully teasing Arshdeep after a game

So when Bumrah got his 100th T20I wicket by dismissing Dewald Brevis, people were curious if he would be the next guest in Arshdeep’s viral videos.

After the match, the presenters jokingly asked Arshdeep whether Bumrah would show up in his Instagram reels. Arshdeep responded with a big smile, saying that Bumrah still has to “take a few more wickets” before earning a place in his videos. Meanwhile, he also said, “If he keeps doing that, he might get a chance.”

Arshdeep also spoke warmly about his relationship with Bumrah.

"The relation with him is very nice. I'd say he is a gentle senior. He's never very harsh on any of the youngsters coming in, and he's very polite with them."

"So I'd say the relation is very nice, and we are Punjabi as well, so it's really easy to gel with him," said Arshdeep.

So far, the Bumrah-Arshdeep pair has taken 47 wickets together in just 14 matches. Arshdeep explained that bowling with Bumrah is a huge advantage for him. Most batters try to attack Arshdeep because they know Bumrah will give them very few scoring opportunities. This actually helps Arshdeep pick up more wickets.

Meanwhile, India have already won the first T20I and will play South Africa again on December 11.
