Indian bowlers were on song as they restricted an in-form Zimbabwe batting line-up for a paltry 189 runs at Harare.

In the aftermath of the win, India's stand-in skipper KL Rahul heaped praise on the bowlers for exploiting the conditions to perfection.

"Picking up wickets is crucial. There was a swing and seam movement as well. But it was good see them put the ball in right areas and be disciplined. For a few of us, it is great to be back in the Indian dressing room."

Deepak Chahar, who made his international comeback after a hiatus, shone with the ball by scalping three wickets for just 27 runs.

Although the 30-year-old took some time to find his rhythm, he didn't look back once he got his first wicket in the form of Innocent Kaia. Prasidh Krishna and Axar Patel also oozed their class with the ball, grabbing three wickets apiece.
