Yashasvi Jaiswal To KKR, Venkatesh Iyer To RR As IPL Trading Window 2024 Gets Spicy Rumours

As the IPL 2024 Trade Window is set to close on November 26, plenty of rumours have been going here and there over the last 24 hours or so. The biggest news is yet to be confirmed, and it seems that Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be able to do so.
After KKR confirmed Gautam Gambhir’s appointment as their mentor, it was obvious that there would be some movements outside the field in order to improvise the squad. Numerous reports state that Gambhir's top priority is to sign Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had been in magnificent form in the IPL 2023.
To get his services, KKR is likely to give them Venkatesh Iyer, who had been retained before the mega auction two years ago.
Interestingly, Jaiswal has started following Kolkata Knight Riders on Instagram lately. The swashbuckling opener, apart from his current franchise Rajasthan Royals, only follows Mumbai Indians (MI), the state for which he plays the domestic league. Thus, following KKR adds more credibility to this rumour.

Now, it will be interesting to watch if RR gives up on their prolific opener, who is expected to be the next big thing in Indian cricket. However, considering Gambhir’s charisma, you never know.
Earlier, the Royals traded Avesh Khan from Lucknow Super Giants, giving Devdutt Padikkal in return. If Jaiswal goes to KKR, this will probably be the biggest trade ever in the history of the competition.
