This evening, Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) will lock horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match number 30 of the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The much-awaited clash is scheduled at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. 

Is Mitchell Marsh Available For LSG vs CSK IPL 2025 Match?

LSG missed the services of their in-form opening batter Mitchell Marsh in their previous encounter against Gujarat Titans at home. Marsh has showcased sublime form this season, scoring 265 runs at an average of 53 and a blistering strike rate of 180.27. 

However, despite performing admirably, Marsh couldn't participate in LSG's previous encounter against GT as his daughter was unwell. Having said that, his absence didn't affect LSG much, with Nicholas Pooran's ballistic knock powering the home team to another emphatic win. 

Meanwhile, as LSG gear up to take on CSK, fans are curious to know about Mitchell Marsh's availability for this epic showdown. Although the SuperGiants haven't released any official statement, Cricbuzz, in its preview, has claimed that the Australian opener will be available for this match. 

In Mitchell Marsh's absence, LSG captain Rishabh Pant opened the innings with Aiden Markram in the previous encounter against GT. However, if Marsh returns, he will likely play as an opener, with Pant going back to his usual number four slot. 

LSG's Journey In IPL 2025

Led by Pant, LSG have shown excellent fighting spirit in the IPL 2025. Despite missing some of their key members, including Mayank Yadav, the SuperGiants have exceeded the expectations, winning four of their first six matches in the tournament.
