In an encouraging development for Lucknow SuperGiants, ace speedster Mayank Yadav has reportedly recovered from back and toe injuries that sidelined him from the initial phase of the IPL 2025. As a result, Mayank is expected to join the SuperGiants squad ahead of their IPL 2025 game against Rajasthan Royals on April 19. 

Mayank Yadav Set To Play LSG vs RR IPL Match: Report

According to a report by MyKhel, LSG's premier fast bowler Mayank Yadav has completed his rehabilitation and will likely make his IPL 2025 comeback by joining the team on Tuesday. The report claims that Mayank has completely recovered from the back and toe injuries which jeopardised his IPL 2025 campaign earlier in the tournament.  

"He is fighting fit and should be raring to go now," a reliable source at NCA was quoted as saying by MyKhel. 

Mayank Yadav's Injury Timeline

Hailed for his ability to make the ball talk at rapid pace, Mayank Yadav missed plenty of action after sustaining a back injury during India's home T20I series against Bangladesh. Although he was well on course for a speedy recovery, a last-minute toe injury further derailed his IPL 2025 campaign. 

His injury-prone body made him highly doubtful for the remainder of the season; however, as it seems, he has finally recovered and is raring to shine for his side in the competition. 

Regarding LSG, the Rishabh Pant-led side is placed fourth in the IPL 2025 points table, with four wins in six matches. This evening, the Lucknow-based side will take on MS Dhoni's CSK at Ekana Stadium.
