This evening, Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their fifth group-stage match of the IPL 2025 season. The high-voltage clash will take place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

Will Kagiso Rabada Play Today?

GT's experienced fast bowler Kagiso Rabada didn't play the last game, as he travelled back to his home. According to GT's official statement, Rabada flew back to his home in South Africa to deal with an important personal matter. 

As the Titans are gearing up for a riveting clash against Rajasthan Royals, fans have become curious to know about Kagiso Rabada's availability for this match. 

In such a scenario, it's worth mentioning that the Titans haven't issued a particular date for Rabada's return. According to The Hindustan Times, there's no clarity on Rabada's IPL 2025 comeback. So, in other words, he is doubtful for tonight's affair vs Rajasthan Royals. 

Rabada played two matches for GT this season, scalping two wickets at a strike rate of 24 and an abysmal economy of 10.38. These numbers are certainly underwhelming as per his standards. 

GT's Performance In IPL 2025

Led by Shubman Gill, Gujarat Titans have been ruthless in the IPL 2025. They have managed three wins in four outings, claiming second position in the points table. 

They had a shaky start to their campaign, incurring a heavy defeat against Punjab Kings. However, they made a remarkable comeback in the tournament, defeating robust teams like MI, RCB and SRH on consecutive occasions.
