Suryakumar Yadav - India's Mr. 360 is all set to captain MI for the first time in history as he has replaced Rohit Sharma for the game against KKR. It is game number 22 of the IPL 2023 and it came as a big surprise when Suryakumar Yadav walked out for toss in the place of Rohit Sharma.

Why Rohit Sharma is not the captain?

Rohit Sharma is suffering from stomach bug and is not fit enough to participate in the whole game. However, he is still in the Impact Players list and may well come out to bat in the second innings. This is now a great opportunity for Suryakumar Yadav to take more responsibility and get back to his best, something which he has not been able to do this season.

Who won the toss?

Suryakumar Yadav called it right in his first toss as a captain for MI and elected to bowl first at the Wankhede. The chasing has been a preferred option in this ground and MI surely have an advantage now after the toss.

What are the changes in both the teams?

Apart from Rohit Sharma who is out of the playing XI, Jason Behrendorff and Arshad Khan are also out of the starting XI. The big news is that Arjun Tendulkar will be making his debut along with Duan Jasen. Tim David who was the impact player in the last game also comes in.

KKR, on the other hand, is going with an unchanged XI.

It promises to be an entertaining affair and let's hope that we get another last-over thriller at the Wankhede Stadium.
