Arjun Tendulkar and Duan Jansen have received their debuts caps ahead of the big clash against Kolkata at Wankhede on Sunday. Tendulkar and Jansen will play their maiden Indian Premier League match. Apart from that, Mumbai Indians have made another huge change to the starting XI as Rohit Sharma has got a stomach bug, and Surya Kumar will lead in his absence.

However, interestingly, Rohit is part of the Impact Player substitutes, meaning if needed and treated well, then the MI skipper could wear his shoes to take up the field against KKR.

Arjun Tendulkar Career

The son of the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun, 23, has played mainly at the same ground, where he will make his IPL debut.

Thus far in his brief career, the all-rounder has played 23 professional matches across all formats. Whereas, in 9 T20 games, he has snapped 12 wickets with a career-best of 4-10, apart from playing a couple of fruitful cameos down the order.

However, ahead of this domestic season, the all-rounder shifted his base from Mumbai to Goa.

Duan Jansen IPL

Apart from Arjun, the other debutant is also related to a cricketer. Duan Jansen is the twin brother of SRH left-arm seamer Marco Jansen.

Just like his brother, Duan is a lanky left-armer who bowls at a quick pace. He made his name during the recently concluded edition of the SA20, before MI bought in the mini-auction.

Kolkata on the other hand have made no changes to their team. Mumbai have won the toss against KKR, and they will bowl first at the home ground.
