The Indian fans are enjoying exciting T20 thrills as the Indian Premier League has taken the center stage with yet another thrilling season. However, even before the season kicked off, controversy brewed as its schedule clashed with the Pakistan Super League, set to begin on April 11.
As both T20 leagues are clashing, South African star Corbin Bosch opted out from PSL and joined MI’s squad. However, as MI left him out of their playing XI, a Pakistani journalist took a cheeky dig at his decision, mocking the star for opting out of Pakistan’s league.
Pakistani Journalist Mocks Bosch
Before the IPL 2025 started, an issue arose over the tournament as it witnessed a collision with the Pakistan Super League which is raising curtains on April 11. Adding to that, the final matches of both tournaments have been scheduled on the same day. That collision sparked tension between players to take part in those leagues.
In that situation, South African player Corbin Bosch switched from PSL or IPL and joined the Mumbai Indians squad for the IPL. That move of Bosch sparked debates and even he was issued a legal notice by PCB.
Despite joining MI, Corbin Bosch failed to find his place in the playing xi against the Gujarat Titans as he remained in substitutes. Seizing the moment, a Pakistani journalist took a sly dig at him, mocking his decision to choose the IPL over the PSL.
In his social media handle, he posted a picture of Corbin Bosch standing on the sideline and captioned it as “Corbin Bosch skipped the PSL to play for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He's not in the playing XI now.” That has now gone viral.
