Why Did Khushdil Attack Fan In PAK vs NZ 3rd ODI?

Meanwhile, apart from the Kiwis' on-field excellence, what grabbed the limelight was Khushdil Shah's heated exchange with the spectators. After the game concluded, Khushdil confronted a group of people, who were enjoying the game near the boundary ropes.

According to several reports, the fans were apparently Afghanistan citizens, who hurled abuses at the Pakistan players during the third dead-rubber at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

The foreign spectators even made some inappropriate remarks at the visiting players, which infuriated Khushdil Shah after the game finished.

Thus, Khushdil apparently couldn't control his emotions and went on to confront the fans. However, he was pulled back by his teammates, who avoided a major mishap at the venue.

Batting first, the hosts posted a competitive score of 264 runs, which Pakistan failed to chase, being bundled out for 221 runs.
