Who Will MS Dhoni Select To Replace Injured Ruturaj Gaikwad In CSK's Playing XI vs KKR?

Ruturaj Gaikwad, the designated skipper of CSK for IPL 2025 has been ruled out due to an elbow injury. It is a big blow for the five-time IPL champions, and MS Dhoni is back as the leader for the Yellove Army.

They would have to find a replacement from the unsold players now, but before that they have a big game coming up against KKR on Friday, April 11. So, they would have to find a replacement for Ruturaj Gaikwad in this game, and it would be interesting to see which way the franchise goes.

Will Rahul Tripathi Make His Comeback vs KKR?

They have experienced lads like Rahul Tripathi and Deepak Hooda in their ranks. Both of them could not make an impact when they got their chances in this season, but they have scored runs at number 3 in the past, and Rahul Tripathi is favourite among the two to get a go.

However, CSK also have the options of young players like Shaik Rasheed, Andre Siddarth and Vansh Bedi. Out of the three, the last two are known for their aggressive batting and they could get a go if Dhoni, the captain decides to blood a young talent. 

However, going by CSK's past preferences, and the way they play their cricket, it is likely that CSK will go with an experienced player and thus we might see Rahul Tripathi play against his former team, KKR at the Chepauk.
