The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 auction is all set to take place on Sunday (December 15) in Bengaluru. It is important to note that, the auction pool has been narrowed down from a long list of over 400 players based on inputs from the franchises and market interest. With only 19 available slots left to be filled, this will be one of the smallest and fastest auctions in WPL history.
Out of the 120 players on the list, 91 are Indian players that include nine capped players, while 29 overseas stars, including three emerging talents from Associate Nations. Among the 120 players, 30 are capped, with 21 international players and nine Indian players. The remaining 90 players are uncapped, including 82 Indians and eight overseas talents.
As the auction approaches, all eyes will be on the players who are expected to generate the most buzz.
