Pakistan are the designated hosts of Champions Trophy 2025 and while there are still doubts over India travelling to their neighbour nation, Cricbuzz has revealed that ICC is planning to host the tournament between February 19 and March 9.

The report from Cricbuzz has stated that ICC have finalised a 20-day period for the tournament, and it is expected to start on February 19 and the final will be played on March 9. The details of the schedule are still not finalized, but it has been learnt that ICC have shared the tentative schedule with all participating member boards and the final decision will be taken soon.

One of the important consideration before finalising the dates was the schedule of various T20 leagues around the world, and as of now, ICC seem to have found a sweet spot with SA20 and ILT20 scheduled to end their third season on February 8 and February 9 respectively. Champions Trophy was last held in 2017 where Pakistan beat India in final at Kennington Oval.

Also, there are talks about the tournament being played in a hybrid model just like the Asia Cup 2023 was played, but Pakistan seem adamant this time around in hosting the tournament completely in their country and according to the reports have selected Lahore as India's sole venue to avoid any travel and security problems.
