Prince Yadav, the LSG pacer, who made his debut against Delhi Capitals in the opening game of his side in IPL 2025 has impressed against SRH. The pacer bowled four overs for just 29 runs and got a big wicket of Travis Head which played a big role in LSG keeping things in control with the ball.
Impressive Domestic Performance Gives Prince Yadav LSG's IPL Contract
This is Prince Yadav's first stint in the Indian Premier League, as the Delhi pacer was bought for 30 Lakhs in the IPL 2025 mega auction. He first grabbed limelight in Delhi Premier League 2024 and played for Delhi-3 where he picked 13 wickets in 10 matches, and then went onto impress in his maiden Syed Mushtaq Ali stint too.
He picked 11 wickets in SMAT in just eight matches and his three-fer in the Quarterfinal played a big role in Delhi's march towards the semis. His death-bowling skills were impressive in all these matches and that fetched him his maiden IPL contract.
In the debut match, he impressed in patches, but could not find breakthroughs when his team needed it. However, he has comeback stronger in the second match, showing great skills and nerves against a dangerous batting line-up like SRH.
He is surely a good buy from LSG at just 30 Lakhs, and is expected to play a big role in the upcoming games with many of their front-line pacers injured.
